Calvary Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Calvary Baptist Church.
Children
Children are very important to our church. Through Sunday School classes and AWANA Clubs on Wednesday evenings, our children learn to follow God at an early age. With the help of puppets, games, activities, special treats and loving teachers, a child gains a wholesome experience that builds Christian character.
Teens
The teen years can be confusing and challenging, but they can also be awesome! Through Sunday School classes, Wednesday evening meetings, regular activities, teen visitation, camps and college trips, our teens are challenged to live for Christ. We do our best to provide the Bible-based wisdom teens need, combined with the fun, friendly atmosphere teens enjoy!
Ladies
The LifeBuilders Connect Goup is designed especially for ladies and includes women who are married, single, and single in the faith. Practical Bible studies that apply to the issues women face today are emphasized in this class.
Men
The StrengthBuilders Connect Group is designed for men and includes men who are married, single, and single in the faith. Practical Bible studies that apply to the issues women face today are emphasized in this class.
Adults & Couples
Calvary Couples & TruthBuilders Connect Groups are designed for young couples newly married and couples raising young families. We believe marriage was instituted by God and He alone holds the keys to its success. This class provides a strong foundation on which to build a marriage as well as the biblical instruction and practical teaching necessary to raise a family in this unstable world.
The LegacyBuilders, KingdomBuilders, and
FaithBuilders Connect Groups are designed for adults in many different seasons of life and provide answers from God’s Word during the unique challenges and struggles that all adults face. Each class offers in-depth biblical instruction, practical training, fellowship activities, and opportunities for service. Choose the class that best fits your needs.
Singles
Calvary Young Adults is designed for both married & single young people in the early years of adulthood.. This class provides opportunities to interact with others who are facing similar life circumstances and maintains an emphasis on meeting the needs of young adults in our community. It is a great place to grow spiritually and make lasting friendships.
The BridgeBuilders Connect Group is designed for the older single, yet welcomes adults of all ages. Relevant teaching and discussion on topics of interest will encourage all who are a part of this class.
PrimeTimers (55 +)
Once you get past sixty, the fun has just begin. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-55 group of Calvary provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. Regardless of which class you may belong to, anyone over 55 is welcome to attend any of our PrimeTimer activities.
